THis was a gift for my wife and she loved it. There are a few of these now and she adores each one. I checked one out and I admit the author came up with a clever idea which makes use of the old Golden book drawings we of a certain age fondly remember. Lots of fun and a good gift for the right person.

Love the Pictures but..

We love the pictures and many of the original books, but the text is nothing special.
Each page has a reference to the original book that the picture came from, these are nice to have.

I love this delightful and clever spin on the classic Golden Books series. Beautiful, well crafted books. Perfect for gift giving. This one is obvously great for Valentine's Day. I am also giving it to my mother for her wedding anniversary.
