Great Inspiration!

Try not to judge this one by its ugly cover... it is a really wonderful book!
My Mom bought me this book and I love it! It has great ideas and examples. I have been doing the 365 (a photo a day) project and this book has helped me on days that I have no photo ideas. Its really helping me broaden my spectrum and think about things in new ways.

And another great thing, it is not just a list of projects. The author actually goes into detail and has lighting diagrams. In actuality, there are well over 150 ideas in this book. I know you will not regret this purchase.

May work for a beginner

I actually returned this item after grazing through it. I had seen a similar item that had more advanced projects and thought this book was that item. The book seems a "rehash" of every beginner photo article ever written. Nothing wrong with that, just not the inspiration I was looking for in this purchase. The clue should have been "Aspiring Photographer".

no what I thought

I thought this book was going to have more "assignments" like specific shots to try so you can learn new skills, it was more of things like trying to shoot in manual mode ect. Not what I was hoping for since I saw an ad for this book in PPA Magazine.
